The astrophysics of stellar interiors, atmospheres, formation, and evolution. Topics include binary stars and stellar parameters, spectral classification, radiative transfer in stellar atmospheres, physics of stellar interiors, star formation, post-main-sequence evolution, stellar pulsations, degenerate remnants, black holes, and close interacting binaries.
