Moenave ("Moe") is a red and white distant cousin to Kopi through 2 great-great grandsires, Cascade's Mountain Grizzly and Cascade's Sabre Bear. He comes to us from Catherine Feher-Elston, author of Wolfsong,, Ravensong, and other works that deal with Native American and wildlife themes. Like "Kopi," Moe takes his name from a red-rock formation - the Moenave Formation, a triassic rock layer with Dinosaur tracks. Since Moe comes from large weight-pull lines, we thought it appropriate to register him as "Moenave Malasaurus Rex!"

Moe got right to work and proved he has the right stuff!

Moe first comes to Malamute Ranch!
