Drift passed away on Vernal Equinox 2009 at the age of 14
He was a tremendous gift to Malamute Ranch!

Drift was an Alaskan Husky bred by Jamie Nelson and was run in the late 90's by August and Don Galloway. He came to us courtesy of Twila Baker and her handler Liz. He was a veteran sled dog that ran highly competitive races in his youth, such as the Beargrease and Montana's Race to the Sky. We were extremely fortunate to have 2 years of the gift that was Drift! He helped train a new generation of Malamutes to work as sled dogs. We miss him terribly!
